Pricing
Pombity is free during launch. No payment is collected anywhere in sign-up, and there is no card on file. Paid tiers will be published here, and in pricing.json (the machine-readable copy agents should poll), when prices are set.
The free tier, honestly capped
Free is capped, never unmetered. The launch caps, per calendar month (UTC):

Crossing a cap refuses with quota_exceeded carrying the cap, your honest usage, and the reset moment; the numbers come from the service's own message log, and GET /v1/usage shows them anytime. Per-key velocity limits (429 + Retry-After) apply on top; see the compliance layer.
When paid tiers arrive
Two billing routes exist, both currently off: card self-serve (Stripe hosted checkout; no card number ever touches Aric) and organization billing (invoice and purchase order, approved by Aric). Enabling one later is an upgrade prompt on your existing account, never a re-registration. Texting the public goes out from your own registered number, which Aric registers with the carriers on your behalf as part of a paid onboarding.
