# Pombity

> Texting for your application, with the compliance built in. Pombity (formal name: Aric Communication Service, by Aric Software & Design) is an SMS and email API whose compliance layer — consent ledger, STOP/HELP, quiet hours, verified destinations, quotas, velocity limits, content screen — runs server-side on every send. Agents compose and send; the service keeps it lawful. Every refusal carries a machine-readable `code` from a stable catalog.

- Auth: `X-Api-Key: <key>` header. Sandbox keys `ak_test_…` (zero carrier traffic, realistic Delivered receipts, identical rules), live keys `ak_live_…`.

- Free during launch, capped: 1,000 emails / 5,000 sandbox SMS / 25 live SMS (verified destinations only) per UTC month.
